Projects

"As a visual artist, I chase the fleeting dance of light, form, and skin. As a musician, I paint with sound—weaving harmony, rhythm, and silence into emotional landscapes. And as a writer, I sculpt language to capture the raw, untamed essence of the human experience."

This collection represents a lifetime of unfiltered creative energy. Whether through large-scale impressionist canvases, narrative historical literature, or evocative musical arrangements, each medium is approached with the same visceral discipline: engaging directly with the world without artificial barriers.

Music

Music and painting are two expressions of the exact same creative pulse. Just as a plein-air canvas begins with raw light, value shifts, and bold strokes, each musical composition is built layer by layer—translating atmospheric mood, dynamic tension, and emotion into melody and rhythm. Notes take the place of pigment; tempo and resonance sculpt the atmosphere. Whether working with oil on linen or keys on the piano, the technique remains identical: capturing fleeting, visceral moments of truth and transforming them into an immersive sensory experience.

writing

"Strip away the social armor of clothing, and you step outside of human calendar time entirely. You become pure skin, muscle, breath, and light."

Inspired by the opening chapter high above the misted bluffs of Black’s Beach, this scene marks the threshold of Convergence. The novel bridges raw plein-air vitality with the unvarnished history of five generations—uncovering hidden Cherokee grandmothers, Revolutionary War battlefields, escape from Tsarist Europe, and the silent resilience of the Dust Bowl.

Paintings

Rooted in the tradition of en plein air, my work is an exploration of natural light, shifting atmospheres, and the raw character of the landscape. Painting directly on location allows me to capture the immediacy of a scene—translating fleeting weather, rich textures, and organic color palettes onto the canvas before the moment passes. Whether finished in the field or brought back to the studio for refinement, each piece aims to bring the warmth and presence of the outdoors into interior spaces.
